Friends Club

Friends Club brings together active gentlemen in the early-to-mid stages of Alzheimer’s disease in a caring, safe and secure environment.  Our program is specially designed to meet the social and emotional needs of men who are experiencing memory loss due to diagnosed dementia.  We are a non-profit, non-sectarian organization.

Friends Club resembles men’s organizations and clubs that a member may have belonged to earlier in his life, providing a familiar, non-institutional setting. Participants gather with trained staff and committed volunteers four days a week to socialize with peers, share common interests and experiences, and enjoy therapeutic, social and physical activities.
The Friends Club Mission is twofold:1.                           To help club members maintain their highest level of functioning, support   emotional and physical independence, heighten self-esteem, and enhance overall quality of life.

2.                           To provide respite and support for caregivers.
